1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using UonEdu, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. UonEdu reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.
2. User Accounts
You must create an account to use most features of UonEdu. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Tutor-Student Relationship
UonEdu acts as a marketplace connecting tutors and students. We are not a party to any tutor-student relationship and are not responsible for the quality of lessons, outcomes, or disputes between tutors and students. Tutors are independent contractors, not employees of UonEdu.
4. Payments and Refunds
All lesson payments are processed securely through Stripe. Students are charged at the time of booking. Tutors receive 90% of lesson fees, paid weekly. Our trial lesson guarantee entitles students to a full refund if not satisfied with their first trial lesson, subject to submission within 7 days.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use UonEdu for any unlawful purpose, to harass other users, to distribute spam, or to circumvent platform fees by arranging direct payments with tutors or students. Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on UonEdu, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of UonEdu or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
UonEdu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to UonEdu in the 12 months preceding the claim.
